Getting started

What do I need to use teleios?

An iPhone with iOS 18 or later. For the full experience, an Apple Watch with watchOS 11 or later that you wear to sleep: it measures the sleep, HRV and resting heart rate that Readiness is built from, and runs your workouts.

Does teleios work without an Apple Watch?

Yes. You can plan and log workouts on your iPhone, and Readiness uses your morning check-in plus any Health data you have. Without overnight Watch data, Readiness is less precise, and teleios tells you which signals are missing.

Why does my Readiness say "Calibrating" or "Low confidence"?

Readiness compares each night with your own normal, so it needs at least 7 nights of data to learn it. teleios imports up to 30 days of Apple Health history when you start, so if you already wear your Watch to sleep, this is usually quick.

If it stays low, wear your Watch to sleep, and check that teleios is allowed in the Health app: Profile → Apps → teleios, then turn on all categories.

How is my starting weight chosen?

For the first two sessions of any exercise, teleios uses the starting weight you give it, or a cautious estimate, and treats those sessions as calibration. After that, your logged reps and reps in reserve drive the progression.

Apple Watch

How do I install the Watch app?

On your iPhone, open the Watch app, scroll down to Available Apps, and tap Install next to teleios. If "Automatic App Install" is on, it installs by itself.

What happens if my iPhone is out of range during a workout?

Nothing changes. The workout runs fully on your Watch, every set is saved there, and everything syncs to your iPhone when they reconnect.

Are my workouts saved to Apple Health?

Yes. Lifting and cardio workouts from teleios are saved to Apple Health with your heart rate and calories. Workouts other apps save to Apple Health, such as Apple's Workout app, also count toward your Load.

Subscriptions

What's the difference between Basic and Premium?

Basic includes the plan builder, Apple Watch logging, history and the daily Readiness score. Premium adds weights, reps and sets adjusted to your Readiness, Load advice after each workout, and optional AI notes. Premium starts with a 7-day free trial.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions → teleios → Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How do I get a refund?

Payments are handled by Apple, so refunds are too. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

I got a new iPhone. How do I get my subscription back?

Sign in to teleios with the same Apple or Google account you used before. If Premium doesn't appear, go to Settings → Subscription → Restore purchases in teleios.

Your data and privacy

Where is my data stored?

Your workouts, plan, Readiness history and Health data stay on your iPhone and Apple Watch. Our server only keeps your sign-in account and a count of AI notes used. Full details are in the privacy policy.

How do I export my data?

In teleios, go to Settings → Export my data. It saves everything as one file you can keep, email or open on a computer.

How do I delete my account and data?

In teleios, go to Settings → Delete my data. This erases your data from your iPhone and Apple Watch and deletes your account. Workouts already saved to Apple Health stay there; you can remove them in the Health app. Remember to cancel any subscription separately.

How do I turn AI notes on or off?

In teleios, go to Settings → AI. When off, nothing is sent anywhere, and teleios explains your day in standard wording.

Health and safety

Is teleios medical advice?

No. teleios is a wellness app, not a medical device, and doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Check with a doctor before starting a new training plan. If you feel pain, dizziness or chest symptoms, stop training and get medical advice; in an emergency, call your local emergency number.
